ITINERARY BY DAY
Day 1
Travel 3 hours outside of Hanoi to escape the city and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Vietnam. On arrival at the port, board your traditional junk boat and set sail through UNESCO World Heritage Halong Bay. Admire the endless islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars as you sit down to a delicious lunch and a cruise briefing. Pass by the distinctive formations of Chicken Rock and Titov island.
In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Luon Cave by row boat and admire the stunning stalagmites and stalactites reflecting in the water. There is plenty of time to relax on the junk's sun deck, take advantage of the spa services and sip a cocktail or two, before a cooking demonstration in the evening. Learn to create traditional Vietnamese dishes with the boat's own chef and try more delicacies at dinner. Later, take the opportunity to try your hand at squid fishing before the day is done!
Day 2
Wake early to start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck, as the sun rises over the bay. Enjoy breakfast while you sail through the towering rock formations.
Head onto land to explore the aptly named 'Surprise Cave', where you pass through a small opening in the rock to a giant cavern within. Return to the boat to relax on board before a Vietnamese set lunch.
In the afternoon visit Bright and Dark Cave by row boat or in a kayak. Head back to the boat for sunset and another night making the most of the Bhaya facilities.
Day 3
Begin your final day with a final Tai Chi class on the sundeck. After a light breakfast, head to Titov Island for swimming and then hike up to a magnificent viewpoint over the bay. Enjoy a final delicious brunch before sailing back to the harbour, where you will continue on to Hanoi.
